Welcome to our 2017 club ride information page. Scroll down to see the ride schedule.
To participate in the club rides, you must be a member of the WBCC. This is important for insurance and liability reasons, as well as the healthy growth of our club and all that we offer our members. If you are not a member, and want to check out our rides before you decide to join, you can do one introductory ride. If you are already a member of another cycling club, you do not have to join our club to be covered. Just show your cycling club membership to the ride leader at the start of the ride.

RIDE SAFE: Before you come to a ride, make sure your bike is in good working order. Helmets are mandatory. Bring water, food, and an emergency repair kit (tube, tire iron, hand pump, bike tool). Also recommended are gloves, glasses, & padded cycling shorts. You should also be familiar with our RIDE GUIDELINES.

MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDES
We are pumped to announce an exciting schedule for our club mountain bike rides this year. If you want to lead a weekly MTB ride at a different time and route, please email Tammy with your proposal.

Each week we will have a 1-hour pedal and a pint MTB ride lead by a different leader. These rides are for all levels. No one will be left behind. We will ride at a social pace. Be ready to roll for 7pm at meeting location. At the end of the ride we meet up with the road group to share a few stories over a pint. EPIC SUNDAYS | Sundays @ 10 AM
This ride is for the cross-country rider that craves a challenge. Epic Sundays are suitable for intermediate to advanced riders with a level of fitness to be able to ride 2+ hours at a moderate pace with boats of higher intensity, and loves to climb. Think of it as an adventure, with a lot of sweating, suffering, and smiles. NOTE: if you have the skills but still building the fitness, you can always join us for the first part of the ride and bailout when you feel you’ve had enough. The point is to get out and ride, right?

WE NEED GROUP RIDE LEADERS
As you can see, there are only four of us leading group rides each week, and most of them are mountain biking rides.
If you want to lead a weekly road or mountain bike group ride, please contact us ASAP and send in your proposal. Even if you have a group of friends that want to take turns, we can layout a schedule and post it here. You can name it what you want (within reason) and add your own style. You set the pace, intensity, time, and type of ride. Make it your own, we’ll promote the ride for you, and watch it grow.
So come on, don’t be shy! The more leaders we have, the more opportunities to ride for our members.
